Ouffer Crazy Giveaway

Hellooooo Brisbane! We think it would be great to introduce as the guys who are losing our minds! We've got all this secret stuff and just don't know what do with it, and so some clever mate in the office came up with a novel little idea - hey, why not give it away! We all chuckled, but quickly realized he was serious when he followed up with "Oh, and let's give people $1 for accepting our mystery gift!"

Well, it dawned on us that this just might be the best way to spread our love. So this weekend, you earn $1 in credit just for signing up and "buying" our mystery box. We're not collecting your payment info, because we're not charging for anything - even shipping!

What's in the box, you might ask? Well, that would be ruining the surprise. If enough people order the Ouffer, we'll be shipping you your secret gift in no time!

So do you think that it's gadgets/items in the box or just vouchers or something to do with a good deal around the city?
  • kazyazy2010/04/16 15:14:07
    I was thinking vouchers
  • kazyazy2010/04/17 13:26:02
I don't think the ouffer is going to make it to 1000... so we might be getting nothing
  • Gallifrey2010/04/17 18:01:32
omg they want your credit card, no can do!

Yah, I was thinkin that, they say - We're not collecting your payment info, because we're not charging for anything-yet they still request your cc deets before you can proceed with the offer.

Looks dodgy to me... and it appears the majority of people think so. They aren't gonna reach 1000!

It is a real website isn't it? It looks real to me.

anyone can make or have made a real looking website. They want your credit card details upfront without any guarantee of receiving anything, thats the risky bit for us consumers!

    Ouffer.com launches in Sydney

There is lots of articles about Ouffers opening so I think its a real site, just a dodgy thing to start off with, that makes them look bad.

agreed, it just feels strange because its not the usual way we are used to!
