Excellent! Thanks Port

:)

What do you think of the prices Port?
I just did a quick check on the G600 they have advertised on the FP - the free E320 Plantronics headset you get is good value but the phone price is at least $30 above some other stores
• nod2008/04/17 18:46:01
And now we have a little bit of cashback to help the deal along :D
• scheps2008/04/18 12:26:11
anyone had experience with this store?
• port2008/04/18 15:54:26
nod
What do you think of the prices Port?

Some prices are good, others less so. As usual, it pays to shop around.

Having said that, some of the competition sell grey imports, which may not be supported locally by the manufacturer. Be aware of that. :)

Prices seem reasonable with both 7% discount and cashback.

Would a kind member give me some advice on these 2 phone deals please.

Are the call rates good & are they good value?

I'm interested in buying the

Nokia E65 + 2Gb

Bonus 2Gb memory card!

Was: $795.00
Now: $450.00

TIA

I'm a fan of contracts coz I dont like change... just lazy I guess

Currently I'm on 3 $29 cap plan and paying $10 a month for a E65, but this phone is now free on the $29 capped plan. You get the phone, $29 worth of calls, plust free 3 to 3 calls (70 min?) yadda yadda yadda
• nod2008/04/20 21:24:20
One thing to look closely at are the prices of the calls when you are considering the 'free time' they give you with each plan.
Sometimes the phone guys offer you a load of 'free' time then the flag fall charges are high or they charge per 30 sec or something so the costs are quite high
• nod2008/04/20 21:25:38
Just had a look and I think these are high :( ....

Call rate (per 30 seconds) 40c
Connection fee (per call) 35c
Text message 25c
Multimedia message 50c
Video call rate (per 30 seconds) 50c
Connection fee (per video call) 35c
Deposit (per 30 seconds) 5½c
Retrieval peak (per 30 seconds) 30c
Retrieval off-peak (per 30 seconds) 30c
Push to talk (per day, per contact) 95c
Optus 'yes' time³ Not included

What do you all think?
• lilpretzel2008/04/21 04:54:00
Yes nod they sure are when you compare them to Bigal's 3 deal.

Bigal thank you very much for that info, that's a great offer especially when I have a 3 prepay and my sisters are on the 3 network.

It's a shame they're SOLD OUT online as I could had grabbed some cashback [ ummm seems the cashback program is no longer available anyway ]

Will show hubby the deal later.

:)

Actually Savvy Tel have excellent rates, over 1/2 price for voice calls.

sms price would be excellent for the kids.

mom's mobile was on optus post paid $9 per month she doesnt use the moble except for a few times usually on the weekends.

I switched her over to iSim and I think she's made 1 call in the last 2 weeks at a total cost of 7 cents!! I think they've got the best rates 'round for people who dont use their phone much.

I'm happy with my 3 $29 cap plan... if I get full 3G coverage everyhwere I am I would be on their data plan as well!!
• nod2008/04/21 17:31:34
Yeah Ozpete talked about isim on here before and the rates were good.

Savvytel are a cashback merchant too :)
But I have a feeling they still charge per 30 seconds which I think is fundamentally wrong :(
