MWAVE - 3 days Bargain24 every hour sale

Posted By: Kotche, posted 2008/12/08 22:25
Mwave got voted 'best online retailer 2008' by PC Authority.

So they are having a sale over 3 days with a new item every hour (except from 4pm-11am which is the same item) starting tomorrow 9th Tuesdasy.

One thing to keep an eye out for in my opinion is the Wireless keyboard and PS3 on Wednesday and the Wii on Thursday.

EDIT: I couldn't get the link to work to the actual sale page so just put the main page in.

I hope the site stays up, I would like to see what the TomTom goes for.

Some nice stuff on offer!!! Hope their sale is nothing like the COTD debacle! :D
However since they got a hot vote from PC Authority, I'm suspecting otherwise!

Hot vote from me. Thanks Kotche! :D

That E-Box has a hard disk but no disc player. How do people use the thing?
  • stilted2008/12/09 10:58:27
5-10% discounts are ok - but at least not the 'bait' discounts like COTD.
  • fairybelle2008/12/09 11:31:36
Yeah listing the prices is much better.. Saves on traffic to the site, if poeple dont think that they want to pay that much

listing the prices is a great idea, I just wish the tom tom was cheaper (too much for me).

TheGoodGuys have this one in their catalogue (starts today) for $344 - (less for cash)

They had the TomTom One v4 (orange box)- which is EXACTLY the same as the XL except it has the 3.5" screen instead of the 4.3" - selling for $248 (less for cash) in their catalogue which ended yesterday!:(

Supa Cheap Auto have it for $258....great price as well!

Have also dealt with MWave on numerous occasions and have found them to be an excellent company!

We've been using the tomtom since its first launch (Well, dad bought the 1st model and we used it, then we bought the 2nd model for ourselves)!

We've recently upgraded to a new one.

They're pricier in the upper range, but in the lower range, they're pretty decently priced (if you don't need the bells and whistles like bluetooth).

The best I would have to say! Never had any trouble with any of ours! Ease of usage is the best feature! I didn't even read the manual and I knew how to use it after 5min of playing!

The 1st model we bought cost us over $800 (well, it was a new gadget and hubby just MUST have it! ).. and the prices now are sooo cheap in comparison! Buy a tomtom, you won't regret it! :D

Agree with queenshrew....get one you won't regret it! Very easy to use and navigate around with.

Have had mine for about 3 years now...paid about $600 for it then. The same one is selling now for $199.

Purchased the TomTom One v4 from Supa Cheap Auto (before I saw the price at The Good Guys...grrr) to give my parents for Christmas. Was looking at getting the XL with the 4.3" screen for them, but after researching it, I realised that I would be paying about $100 more just for a larger screen.
