I have another Dell double deal for you, with this you get a Vostro 1000 notebook that should be $949 and a 24" TFT Monitor that is on offer this week for $1098. Combined they should cost $2047 but we can get them much cheaper. How about $565 discount!

Click through and enter ecode Q540804V-web into the ecode finder boxes on the dell landing page, configure the notebook how you want and add the 24"TFT from the additional monitors section while building your dell.
Go to checkout and enter coupon code 39131CC55486 for an extra 10% discount before GST.

Doing the deal this way gets you the 24"TFT and notebook both with a good discount, the TFT comes with a 3yr warranty even though the notebook is selected with one year.
You dont of course get the Razor Diamondback Chameleon Gaming Mouse & Sennheiser PC131 Professional headset thats being offered with the 24" this week, but ya cant have everything can you!
You do get 3% Buckscoop cashback as well though on top of this deal so its all good.

Dont want a notbook but do what the 24"TFT cheap, why not find a mate who wants a notebook and do a deal with them and split the savings.

Good idea :) The 24" monitor is class!!

If you do split the deal with a mate and want to transfer the warranty over to them on the notebook, this can be easily done on line with a form on Dell USA website.
PM me if you cant find it

    ah cool
That is a good idea. One of you gets the monitor and one of you gets the lappy :)

This twin deal also works with ecode Q540802V which is the base line Vostro 1000 but the notebook isnt so well spec'd with the exception that it does have a 120Gb hard drive.
Cost involved when using this one is a final price of $1352.34 delivered.
The top deal is well worth spending the extra $130.

Once again - excellent find sandgroper. Another hot vote.

As a comparison the lesser spec'd MacBook will cost you about $70 less without the monitor ...

the 120gb is a better deal in my opinion. but you could just buy some more
nice one Sand my boy :)

Interesting that you say that :) opinions differ dont they.

I worked on the fact that the 120Gb notebook was short on ram had only a basic OS and no dvdrw, so the only thing it scored on was the hard drive for me.

Now I may be strange but I think with external drives as cheap as they are that using the notebook mobile only requires a smallish drive but when at home on the desk you can add 500Gb quite easily by plugging in the ext usb drive.

Nice to have other opinions on deals though
