Looks like a nice monitor. I got the Dell E248WFP 24" Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor offer two weeks ago for $314. The S2409W seems to have lower brightness, but it comes with HDMI and the viewing angles seem a little larger. I wonder if you can use NRMA codes to get this even cheaper.
• lilpretzel2008/10/03 09:55:59
Please remember if you use the NRMA code you WILL NOT receive cashback!

NRMA will be credited with the sale.

;)

Sandgroper,

Great price as usual.

This monitor is a little unusual though in that it is a 16/9 monitor and supports 1920x1080 (as opposed to most 24" monitors which do 1920x1200 - I suspect this is because it's shape is a little different).

Great deal.

Makes it perfect for running consumer products like PS3/Xbox360/Blu-Ray over HDMI though.

Extra discount doesn't appear to work?
• admin2008/10/04 17:08:33
Have you tested that jfdubos? Stunning if it works on top of the price.
• Wally2008/10/04 17:13:56
It works if you go through the Small Business portal!

Fark! I said to the Crow!

I suppose being that 1080 is not a native Computer screen resolution would mean you would have to select a reolution below, unless you were using a consumer device HDTV or XBox !?
• shobbs2008/10/04 17:25:37
Yep, small business portal works a treat...have just ordered 2. $510 total minus GST and tax deductable makes for 2 pretty cheap monitors!

Much appreciated.

I don't think that's true... I remember seeing 1920x1080 on many PCs that I've come across so far, the one I'm using now included. You can often force resolutions that are listed anyway, as there isn't really such a thing as a "native" resolution output (the limit is only what your display driver allows).
