You dont really need to spend the money at Borders / Angus & Robertson to get the 'voucher'. Virgin wines do the $80 off as an introductory offer if you sign up to the Discovery Club - details here.

The discovery club system relies on the assumption that people are too lazy to change or cancel accounts. Once you sign up you get a mixed dozen each quarter (unless you reject it) and of course your charged for it. Its worth reading through some of the reviews here on the service and the quality of wines if you were thinking of signing up to it.

The reviews in that link appear to be from the UK virginwines store, not the AU one. I think its operated by a different company here.
