$20 Worth of Free Vaalia Yogurt

Posted By: baz123, posted 2009/04/01 14:45
First post so hope this is all OK. Basically Vaalia will refund up to $20 worth of the purchase cost of their yogurt if you dont like it after 2 weeks. You must complete a claim form to get your money back. The full terms and conditions are on their website, but in summary they are:

1. To complete the Vaalia Two Week Trial, individuals must purchase 14 serves of Vaalia yoghurt (each serve is a minimum of 90g, with a total of at least 1,260g) within a two week period from a participating retailer that issues receipts stating item purchased, the price of the items purchased and the date of purchase, and then consume a serve of Vaalia yoghurt each day over 14 consecutive days.
2.

To claim, if the claimant is not completely satisfied with Vaalia yoghurt at the end of Vaalia Two Week Trial, claimants must then:
1. obtain the official claim form for download at www.vaalia.com.au;
2. fully complete their details on the form;
3. answer the question Why didnt you see the benefits of Vaalia yoghurt during the two week trial? in 25 words or less;
4. attach their original product purchase receipt(s) which clearly show the price paid for each item and the date of purchase;
5. attach the original washed and dried Vaalia yoghurt foils (specially marked packs only) establishing that a total of at least 1,260g of Vaalia yoghurt has been purchased and consumed within the 14 day period; and
6. send the completed claim with the purchase receipt(s) and relevant number of foils together to:

Vaalia Two Week Trial, PO Box 255, Eastern Suburbs MC, NSW 2004.

so that the claim is received within ninety (90) days of the date listed on the relevant purchase receipt. In the case that there are multiple purchase receipts, the ninety (90) day period will commence from the earliest purchase date (as indicated on the receipts provided).

    Is $20 worth all that trouble?
  • baz1232009/04/01 15:04:33
    I think it is if you're going to eat yogurt anyway

    Not a freebie if u r completely satisfied. Should be added to the title/offer.

    "if the claimant is not completely satisfied with Vaalia yoghurt at the end of Vaalia Two Week Trial, claimants must then:"

    Good first post. I'm gunna add rep, even though I wouldn't bother with all these T&Cs even if I hated the stuff.

    interesting process that they make you go through. So what happens if you purchase 13 serves. :) You dip out right...

    Yep .. you must buy 14 :-D one a day ... well you must eat one a day.

    A bit of a marketing ploy on the part of Vaalia as most people will not go through the whole process detailed above. But in essence not a bad deal if you want free yogurt

    Thanks Baz 123 - hot vote from me

    I think this is offered because the company believes their product is so good, people will feel better and see results. And truth is, if you don't eat yoghurt normally. You will see a positive result... So you'd have to lie to get the money back.

    Seems sort of dodgy to abuse it.

    Dunno if I'd call it dodgy - its a calculated risk on the part of the vaalia marketing budget. They'll be working on the drop off and fact that there will be X % of those that try who will come back and purchase again at some point in time.
