Vikk’s Vouchers Guide - Chapter Three: Webjet Coupon Codes

To bring a bit of variety into the picture, following on from my two previous voucher guides on fashion retailers, let’s have a look at what travel bargains are on offer from Webjet. Whether you’re looking to stay a few nights at a hotel in Australia or planning a trip abroad, it’s worth checking out Webjet’s promos as they are often more competitively priced than other hotel booking sites. Here's a quick guide to the coupon codes which play a big part in making Webjet's hotel booking rates so attractive.

Webjet coupons are designed to give you discounts on hotel bookings and are always tied to a minimum spend threshold with no exceptions. Typically the required minimum spend is in the neighbourhood of $200-$300 on which you can usually save between $30-$50 when booking a room. If your total exceeds $600-$700 for your hotel booking, check the current list of Webjet codes on Buckscoop’s Vouchers page, as you'll often find that there's a code applicable to this price range which allows you to deduct around $100. The maximum discount you're able to get with a code appears to be in the region of $150 which generally requires spending at least $1000. The only disappointment is that you won't be able to stack multiple codes on top of each other for bigger discounts, although this is not uncommon amongst travel booking websites.

There might be other criteria your booking needs to meet in order to be eligible for the discount. Sometimes the minimum spend threshold comes accompanied with a minimum stay (i.e. 3 nights, 4 nights) requirement or a restriction of destinations (i.e. Gold Coast, Perth, Sydney, USA, South Africa, South Asia, Europe, etc).

Overall, based on some of the previous deals we’ve seen on Buckscoop, you can usually expect to get about a 15% discount on average with your hotel bookings - and in many cases, this ends up giving you the most competitive price available online. In this previous deal, the discount offered by Webjet's coupon code actually put their rates at around 25% cheaper than market prices elsewhere. Plus, you'll have sufficient time to think and do your research as most Webjet coupons give you between a week and a month before they expire. In terms of their frequency, historically we've seen that you're likely to find at least a couple of active codes available at any given time.

On the downside, there’s a long list of hotels and chains that do not participate in Webjet’s promotions. These exclusions apply to every single code issued and restrict you from making use of them when booking at the following hotel chains: Venetian Mcau Resorts, Sands Macao Hotel, Marina Bay Sands Singapore, Harrah’s, MGM, Starwood, Novotel, Sol Melia, Rezidor, Hilton Hotels, InterContinental, Accor, Sofitel, Mercure, Ibis, Pullman, MGallery, Suite Hotel, All Seasons, Orbis and Marriott.
