The wait is over! The lighter, more portable Nintendo Switch Lite has just landed in Australia, and is available in three awesome colours. The regular full price of this one is $329, but we've spotted a few stores selling it as low as $298 shipped. Check out the list below.
- Amazon Australia $298 shipped
- Big W $298 (only until 22nd September when it reverts back to $329)

- JB Hi-Fi $299
- EB Games $329.95
- Kogan $329
The Nintendo Switch Lite has been especially created for handheld play. (You cannot use this in TV mode, nor does it include detachable controllers.) This is a lighter, more compact console - one that can go anywhere you go.
It features a 5.5-inch touchscreen, and controllers that are built directly into the console; the directional buttons on the Switch have been replaced with a control pad on the Lite.
The good news for competitive gamers is that you can still sync with up to eight other Nintendo Switch or Lite consoles, and you can even link up with players around the world.
The Nintendo Switch Lite will play all software that support handheld playing. If you have games that don't support handheld gaming, you can connect a JoyCon controller to the console.
