For what it's worth, the "e" means it was/is aimed at the education market. A number of reviews out there on it - eg ]here. It's not perfect by any means, with the screen being a slightly cut down resolution, and the instant-on linux option appears to be a good idea on paper that doesn't work in practise, but I think it's a fairly decent deal for the price. RRP was originally well over $600 (I suspect it's being discontinued - it's $339 on the lenovo website now)

FYI they still seem to be selling this. I got one and it's really quite nice. Very solid build, had them upgrade the memory (to 2GB - maximum an Atom processor can see). Nice clean bright screen. Came with a fair amount of bloat apps pre-installed, but easy enough to remove. I actually wiped & installed Windows 7 on it, and runs just fine. Bought this for my dad who'll just use it for email, but seriously tempted to get one for myself to use on the odd plane trip... actually, if I had the spare cash I'd probably get one for each of the kids.... ;-) Dang. Update. Hit refresh on the site and it went to "Not Available, check back soon". Ah well....
