I wasn't too sure if this counted as a freebie seeing as you need to open bank accounts and make purchases; so posted in deals section and leaving it to mods discretion if they want to move it to freebies :)

Yea its better here as a deal. Only available to the first 10,000 eligible accounts. Quite a few terms and conditions. As this advice has been prepared without considering your, objectives, financial situation or needs, you should, before acting on the advice, consider its appropriateness to your circumstances. Terms and conditions for the Everyday account and NetBank Saver are available in branch. This offer commences 3/10/11 and is only available to new customers or existing bank customers who do not have an Everyday account or a NetBank Saver account. Both accounts must be opened at the same time by 31/10/11. Both accounts must be in the same name and joint accounts count as one customer and are only eligible for one $100 payment. Both accounts must remain open for payment to be made. The card must be used for purchases only (online, overseas and instore). $100 will be credited by 21/12/11 to the NetBank Saver account of the first 10,000 customers who satisfy all eligibility criteria.

Does this applies if we already have existing netbank saver account?

I emailed them to ask why new customers were getting $100 and existing loyal customers got nothing. Got some bull**** about promotions being targetted to different groups.

:) all you existing customers fall under the retentions dept so miss out on the promos run by the acquisition dept.
