I agree, these promos are a bit deceiving. I always find that ebay gets so rammed with listings during them that my items get less attention than they usually would and get bid up much lower... might be different this time because the promo runs for longer. I still miss being in the UK where gallery is ALWAYS free on ebay :(

I didnt think it was anymore lisss. Ahh - just checked. Your meaning the one free gallery picture. I was thinking the multiple picture pack.

I think the price of gallery should be reduced. .30 cents would be fine. So it would be .60 cents for a .99 cent listing with gallery. I think it shouldn't be free because, items with search pictures sell for more money, so if every listing had a free gallery pic in the search results, it wouldn't have the same effect. Or maybe they should be free if you list to a certain volume.

Excellent! I managed to put up over 30 Gamecube/Wii/DS games! Hopefully they sell for more than 99c though!

I can't help but smirk when I read 'no insertion fee' and think about all the ways ebay has screwed people over the years :)

Having to put Paypal as a payment option and get money taken for the listing, the % of the final price, for people to pay you with paypal and then to transfer the money to your bank account. The only thing I can think of that skims more money off me is the government with the introduction of GST!
