Salted caramel meets malt beer
Gelato Messina Teams up With Australian Brewery for a Dulce de Leche Ale

If you love your beer as much as you love your ice cream, you are going to really love this: famed gelato house, Messina has teamed up with award-winning Australian Brewery to create a boozy-beer version of their much-loved Dulce de Leche. You can get your hands on it at Dan Murphy's from $5.99 per can.

According to Messina, this divine-sounding concoction is not to be dismissed as yet another dessert beer, rather it's "a complex malt character combined with the smooth and creamy nature of dulce de leche," which translates to a cracking full-flavoured beer with plenty of salted-caramel goodness.

I'm not usually a beer drinker, but this I need to try!

The collaboration is a very limited edition, and is available at a number of pubs as well as select bottle shops, including Dan Murphy's and Woolworths Online.

Dan Murphy's is selling single cans for $5.99 (where available), and six-packs for $19.99. Need more? (Who could blame you!) A slab of 24 cans will set you back $92.99.

Don't forget, there's FREE Click & Collect at Dan Murphy's - make use of it!

Shipping starts at $6.90.
