Top Hotel Deals in Surfers Paradise and Brisbane

I'm holiday shopping again - actually, it's a hobby. It's what I do in time off. I love travel.

Let's take a look at Surfer's Paradise hotel deals for the week 18 - 22 November. The beautiful weather makes me want to hit the beach.

Agoda currently has on offer on the Marrakesh Apartments right by the seafront. This place looks amazing. If the sea's not your thing, the swimming pool looks fantastic too. If you book it with Travelocity the room will cost you $225 per night, but through Agoda it's currently $121 (although there's only one room left, and the next available price is $10 - still a bargain).

You'll get free undercover car parking, and a complimentary $10 breakfast voucher per person per day. Check-out is at midday, which is quite nice, and you can use the pool until 4pm on the day of your departure.

Sea Temple Surfers Paradise Gold Coast - Guest RoomThe Sea Temple Hotel in Surfer's Paradise is so beautiful, it makes me ache a little on the inside. Travelocity has the rooms for $879, however they're much cheaper at Expedia and Agoda for only $467 per night. You pay nothing till you get there, and there's free cancellation too. The apartments are all facing east and boasting floor to ceiling windows as well as spacious open balconies, uninterrupted ocean views are a guaranteed feature of every apartment. All are fully self-contained and furnished with stylish, modern décor. They look rather stunning.

If you're looking for something a little more... capital... you can head over to Brisbane for more fabulous offers.

The Colonial Village Motel and Villas looks like a quaint and fun place to spend a few days. It's not in the centre of the city, but close to amenities, and it has things like a shop, a games area and a pool, so you could spend a few days there without needing to get into the city. The room comes with a continental breakfast included as well as free parking.

At you're looking at $90 a day, which seems a bargain, but at Expedia it's $49. That seems pretty good for a cheap family getaway, since villas can take up to two adults and three children.

If there's a little more money burning a hole in your pocket, however, the 4-star Central Hillcrest Apartments are a short walk from the Southbank restaurant precinct, but the apartments come with a kitchen nicer than mine at home anyway. The accommodation includes free parking and 200 MB of free Wi-Fi per day and will cost you $801 through - for the four nights. Travelocity, on the other hand, will give you the same for $1048. Did you see the views from there? They are gorgeous.

So... which one would you choose?
