Scoopon travel bargain: 8 nights in 4-star award-winning family resort in Phuket for $699 (2 adults + 2 kids)

** 8 nights in Sunwing Resort & Spa (Bangtao Beach, Phuket) for just $699 via Scoopon **

I've been looking online for some last minute travel deals to get away with the family during the upcoming school holidays.

Found the above offer on Scoopon which seems like excellent value. This is for 2 adults and 2 kids (under the age of 18) staying in a 44.50sqm "studio" room including breakfasts. It's also worth noting that kids eat free at this resort when dining with parents.

Looking at prices through other hotel booking sites, the next best price on a studio room including breakfast is $816 via Meanwhile Expedia, and are all charging $930 for this.

Scoopon give you additional value for money with the usual "bonuses" thrown in along with their travel deals which the other booking sites don't generally include.

In this one, your $699 also gets you:
-> Daily 30 minute massage for 2 adults to share
-> 1 x set lunch or dinner for 2 adults
-> Return airport transfers to get you door to door
-> Early check-in at 10am and late check-out at 5pm
-> Kids’ Club access for the young ‘uns

Travel deal Validity:
- Valid from 20 June 2016 to 20 December 2017
- Not valid: 21 December 2016 to 31 January 2017

[The Sunwing Resort & Spa was voted as one of Thailand’s Top 25 Family Hotels according TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award 2016]

    If you're travelling with a baby, you might want to consider opting for one of the resorts' " Happy Baby Studios" which come equipped with special additional amenities such as a baby cot, high-chair, stroller, nursing mat, baby resting chair and more. The rooms are also located on the ground level with an enclosed terrace and gate that can be locked. It costs $100 more than the standard studio room (so $799 for 8 nights) though. I'm mentioning this however, as it's still much cheaper compared to prices right now on Expedia,, and who are charging over $1280 for these rooms. Only Elvonline was cheaper but still charging above $1k. Just something for parents with infants to consider.
