Saw this offer just now at Get Wines Direct on the dozen case of Anciano Gran Reserva Tempranillo Aged 7 Years 2006 for $107.88 with free delivery.
That's a great price considering it's an award winning aged Spanish red from the famous region of Valdapeñas. As it's a Spanish wine, the Anciano Gran Reserva is matured in oak barrels for at least 18 months, then in cellars before bottling and sealing each bottle with cork. It has smooth vanilla notes, rich black cherry fruit and subtle hints of leather, balsamic and spice with fine complexity and mellow oak character. Won a gold medal and various awards at international wine competitions.
Although this wine is made for export only, Get Wines Direct's promo slogan "Prices So Low Even The Spanish Don't Know How We Do It" is actually somewhat correct as currently this exact same Gran Reserva is selling for over $12 a bottle across the globe.
Costco is also supposed to stock Anciano wines, but I'm not a member so I don't know if they do have this exact same vintage and how much they're charging for it.
