Teac HD Digital Set Top Box - $187 @ Dick Smith Electronics

26 April 2008

Dick Smith have the TEAC HD Digital Set Top Box HDB840 for just $187 each, find it on Page 10 of their most recent catalogue.

It's the cheapest Branded HD Digital Set Top Box I have ever seen, so it could be a great time to upgrade.

What's different about getting HD TV?
You'll get about 3 extra channels than a conventional Standard Definition Set Top Box. In the major centres, you'll get 7HD, Nine HD & Ten HD.

In addition, you'll be experiencing better sound & video quality subject to what hardware you have.

It's available both online and instore from DSE.

Regular price...... and although it's an ok set top box, there are better branded HD boxes with more inputs.

TEAC a "brand"?? Heavens how things have changed TEAC used to be the bottom of the list - like Olin, Omni are today - Then again AWA used to be a brand, now its recycled and the new TEAC
