    these HDTV ratio and resolution (16:9, 1920 x 1080) Samsungs have got a couple of good reviews so far... picture quality in particular is apparently very good... note there is no HDMI input, only a single DVI input (with HDCP support for playing protected content)... stand is also only tilt adjustable... Samsung are generally one of the better LCD monitor manufacturers however, and usually have a 3 year warranty on their monitors, and a good dead pixel policy... however it is very annoying that Mwave is hopeless with putting warranty information on their product pages... i've never bought from them, so i guess it's worth checking if they are selling legit Aussie stock with full manufacturer's warranty...

    oh, and btw these are a good alternative to the Dell S2209W, which is Dell's take on the same spec monitor...
