Lenovo ThinkPad T60 2Ghz core2duo, 2gig, 160Gb, dvdrw, bt, +Free 19" TFT Monitor $1999

26 August 2007

Looks like a bit of a bargain to be had while stocks last over at Lenovo AU, buy the well spec'd T60 and get a 19"TFT thrown in for free. Monitor is widescreen and priced around $250 and up elseware.
Notebook prices without TFT seem to be $250 more elseware too for 2Ghz model.

I initially thought that the price was high - but it seems pretty reasonable for the spec on the machine and with a monitor thrown in its a good deal.

the monitor is the lenovo L192. Lenovo claim the price of the monitor is $449 but you can buy it for $360.

Thinkpad's are great!! I've got a 12-inch, 1.6kg IBM Thinkpad X31, it's a few years old and still going strong, after a lot of travel!

The only thinkpad's I've ever used were the really early ones when they were shaped like a brick and you could make a cup of tea while they booted up. Imagine that they've come a long way since then.

What do you think?
