For those of you thinking to save $99 by selecting Vista basic but wanting the aero interface of Vista Premium... Windows Vista home basic has no aero interface out of the box, but its actually there just blocked, there is now a workround for those wishing to use Aero with basic, this involves nothing but a couple of registry hacks. Not sure I should put a link for it in here so google for "Activate Vista Aero Interface on Windows Vista Basic Edition" or not as you wish.
