Apple MacBook MA699X/A @ Mac Centre $1399 - 13" 1.83GHz

19 August 2007

This is a good price for a macbook. Its the 'superceded' 1.83 Ghz one but when your CPU spends the majority of its life picking its nose I personally dont see a huge advantage in having that extra 5 cycles per core.

Myers reportedly had these out for $100 cheaper so if you in there have a quick look otherwise this is a good buy - and its a local reputable company.

Delivery is reasonable as well.

"An estimate price is:
$15 for NSW
$20 for VIC,QLD,SA
$25 for TAS, WA, NT "

The saving in this isnt huge. You can for example get the same machine delivered direct from Apple for $1449. The base price around about is $1450 or so.
