http://www.microsoft.com.au/offers/hardware/images/a_feature.jpg As its 30% back off RRP you should be able to find a bargain or two between now and July 31st on some kit offered at well below RRP by merchants. If you find a bargain why not post it in this thread :)

A quick example is Wireless Laser Desktop 3000 has a RRP of $99.95 so is good for $30.00 cashback macotechnology.com.au have this on special at $50 plus delivery so you should be able to pick one up for $20 plus delivery or collect if your close and save even more. Another example Comfort Optical Mouse 3000 RRP $39.95 cashback $15.00 is in several stores at around $30 plus delivery so you should end up paying just $15 plus delivery for this.

Umart have Microsoft Lifecam VX-6000 for $59 collect in store or plus delivery, MS are giving $40 cashback which could make this a bargain if your looking for a webcam

This is cheap would only cost me $45 delivered from Megabuy. Nice keyboard except chunky.

I got Officeworks to pricematch Umart on a Wireless Laser Desktop 6000. RRP = $149 Officeworks = $149 Umart = $83 Cashback = $45 So, should get it for $38 after cashback. Also, by getting it from Officeworks, you get the v2 and Retail, so should be no problems in submitting the claim.

did you just had to get a print out before you went in to buy it?
  • ethanol
Yeah, I just did a staticice search and printed out the pages from a few stores which were based in QLD - I started off trying to PM against one at $75, but they didn't have a "shop-front" - ended up PMing against UMarts "Retail Price", but as I say, you end up getting the retail and v2, so should be no issues on cashback - fingers crossed.

That is a great idea Ethanol. I can't see why a purchase from Officeworks would not get you your cashback from Microsoft. I would say keep us posted on the MC cashback but I think they take a few months to pay up??
