nice one :) Also, it's great to see their advertised price is what they're actually charging - no extra tax etc.

I just flew Air Asia from KL to the Gold Coast last Friday. Brand new Airbus a320, touch screen media players in the headrest in front of you (charge to watch VOD), leather seats, adjustable headrests, the seats are fixed but the inside slides forward, so the person in front can't lean back and crush your legs. Overall best plane I've ever been on, I'm going to keep flying Air Asia in the future. Plus their sale prices are really good value.

Trying to book a flight - could not see where KL to London would cost $254. I suspect they have made a mistake and used the GBP conversion in their australian ad. Note also that the conditions state that fare is based on the current exchange rate. Works out at about $400Au - still cheap but not as advertised You can probably hold them to it ... but would require more hoop jumping that I would be willing to do. London Travel from 11 March - 30 June 2009 RM 999.00 / GBP 249 * RM 1999.00 / GBP 549

I suspect they would only have a limited number of seats at that price. I wonder if they have all been snapped up already ?

Hey Nod, Yeah just normal economy, Paid the extra to pick our own seats, sat as close to the front as we could. I was very impressed with the new planes. I flew the same route with them 5 months ago, on the old plane, which was still good, plenty of leg room, and no complaints for the price. However these new planes still have that new smell, and really feel like they should be charging a lot more for them.

Plastic wrap still on the seats? Pilots going slow up the hills, "stilll running 'er in ladies & gentlemen" :-)

Thanks JoelWilliam The extra legroom makes soooo much difference on long haul flights and as you say for the price ... where can you go wrong

What do you think?
