http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee236/lilpretzel/vacuum.jpg I'm going to be checking out the Piranha Compact 1300W - 50% Off - $39 for my daughter, I reckeon a good price to clean the average unit. Brought her a Sanyo last week for for christmas at $180 so guess I'll be getting a refund on that! :)

thats a pretty cheap vaccuum cleaner. I'm trying to see what the energy and water rating are on that 5kg washing machine - to see whether it qualifies under the various rebate schemes. It'd make it a serious bargain if it did.

:D - nope ... unquestionably ineligible. Energyrating.gov.au gives it a 1.5 star rating for both water and energy. Only 2.5 stars away from rebate level. Sorry - hijacking your thread here - I'll shutup now

Thanks for the deal! I'd be inclined to go the bagless. Bags are such a pain in the behind. I brought a homemaker bagless with 1yr warranty for $60 about a month ago. This bagless has a 3yr warranty so definitly worth it considering it should last 3x as long ;)

I am with you netjock changing bags all the time is a pain. I think the important thing about a bagless vax is that you can wash out the filter and the storage area. I know they are not popular here but that is one of the reasons why I love my Dyson :)

I see there's a few cheapy cyclonic vaccum cleaners at oo.com.au as well. Like this one for $59 http://www.oo.com.au/prod/EL1800WBL/1b.jpg
