Deals Direct - Pet Casket.. :o $29.95

28 July 2008

Hrm.... Kind of morbid..not really a deal but just something that caught my eye. The first I've ever come across online.

So I thought I'll bring this to everyone's attention...

Never seen this before..wish they sold this when my precious kitty passed away a few years ago... :( We buried her in her fave hidey spot under a tree (My poor precious baby kitty passed away on the vet's operating table, aged 3.5).

For the pet who has everything - a Mini sized Pet Casket..... :o

I haven't been to look at the site as yet but ...... When your pet dies you don't have days to keep it somewhere usually so what are we ment to do with it till this arrives ?? hehe

You can understand there's a bit of loss associated with your pet pegging it, especially when they've been with you for a long time.

well you can buy pet urns.... gone are the days when a black garbo bag would have done the job!
  • admin EDITOR
:D the veterinary body bags are still yellow garbage bags.

Nice idea, we buried our old dog in a normal hole... not sure I'd want to spend $$ on a casket, my personal preference would be to spend the $$ on getting some photos enlarged and framed or something like that.

My friends parents are vets and once when I was little we went down to their farm, they tried to tell me that all the bags in the boot...it was a wagon, were full of clothes...I can remember looking and thinking since when do jumpers have feet?? That night we had the biggest camp fire and the silly people threw all the bags of clothes onto it!!???

We had to put our much loved cat to sleep on Wednesday he had kidney failure  I now hate to think what the vet did with him

We have what the family call a wall of doom since we used to move about a lot i hated the idea of burying a loved pet only to move and leave it burried their so we elected to get out dear departed pets cremated and placed in urns they are kept on a shelf in a bookcase with the pets picture next to each urn when granpa died the family put him on the shelf also

Too right. Dependning on the kids and the age of the treasure, the result would either be nightmares or a belief that they had indeed hit the jackpot!

What do you think?
