Bamix 140 basic white blender $119 delivered from Kitchenware direct

15 March 2010

Good price. The delivery makes it otherwise it'd be just a fairly normal one. No idea what these blenders are like. I prefer the food processors.

This is just literally the stick. None of the fiddly little extras that they usually come with. I'd personally think that a good thing not a bad one.

The stupormarkets seem to discount these basic models every once in a while to about the same price.

Target have a ]Sunbeam Stickmaster Pro for $79. I have one and works fine. Gets a bit stuck when you give it harder things to blend up. I can't personally see why the Bamix would be better? I would prefer to save the $40

Bamixs are great, easy to clean and very strong and last for years. Its what us 'chefs to be' use at Tafe. So I would say they are worth the extra $40 for the quality.

The answer would probably be quality.

I had a fancy Breville one for $129.00 I LOVE mine...used it almost daily...! (Smoothies, soups, baby food etc) They are so much more useful and easy to clean than blenders. Now that I see this..I wonder where my Breville stick went...argh! Must still be in one of the moving boxes :(
