Airline Tycoon 2 on PC for $6.50 from Greenman Gaming with Kalypso games promo

16 May 2013

Greenman Gaming are running a 48 hour promo on Kalypso games with up to 75% off.

Airline Tycoon 2 is available for $6.50 which isn't bad considering what other local merchants are asking for it (e.g. Mightyape.com.au = $29.99; Videoezy.com.au = $23.95). This is also good value even when compared with competitive gaming merchants in the UK like Zavvi who are charging $14.70 (incl. shipping).

The promo is running until May 17th and includes many other titles such as:
* Sine Mora at 75% off
* Alien Spidy at 40% off
* Dead Block at 75% off
* Dollar Dash (includes the Dollar Dash 4 pack) at 40% off
* Jagged Alliance: Back in Action & DLC at 75% off
* Jagged Alliance: Crossfire at 75% off
* MUD TV at 75%
* Patrician IV Gold Edition at 75% off
* Port Royale 3 and DLC at 75%
* SkyDrift and DLC at 75% off
* Tropico 4 at 75% off
* Who's That Flying at 75% off

    Only thing is all the ones being compared to will delivery a physical copy. Whereas this is only for a virtual copy. You'd expect it to be less.

    Fair point odysseus, that could have been clarified. For those who perhaps don't know, Greenman Gaming are digital retailers of games (UK based). They also offer trade-ins on previously purchased games which then gives you credit towards the purchase of others. So I guess it's just a question of how much value you place on having a physical copy. Personally, I'm more interested in playing and not having to wait for delivery. But of course, to each their own.
