Google have opened up Google Talk so you can use it to make calls to normal landlines & mobiles with your computer. For the remainder of 2010 all calls to US and Canadian numbers are free. Yep, free. When you setup your account, you get some credit - somewhere between $0.10 and $1 (depending on when you signed up I think). Doesn't sound like much, but call rates for other countries (like Australia or the UK) are around the $0.02 mark per minute, with no flagfall. Some people I know have got $1 when they signed up, I just got ten cents - but that ten cents gives you a five minute call to the UK, so better than nothing...... and did I mention the free calls to the US?
Its obvious isn't it..... ! Through Buckscoop Australian consumers can freely share deals, vouchers or promo codes, bargains and freebies they think are worth mentioning. At Buckscoop you're participating in helping others to share in the good deals that you find and of course the share in those others find as well.
