OH..SO YOU ARE REQUIRED TO CREATE THE 'PROFILE/ACCOUNT' FOR POTENTIAL 'FUTURE ORDERS'..............not just sign up for a newsletter.
  • fairybelle2010/08/26 16:46:48
Yeah. I dont think its a big deal though...
I signed up ages ago when I was going to place an order but never did. So they just sent out newsletters to me. They never contact me in any other way. They actually have good deals so its worth it :D

You will get a confirmation of your profile account that you have created at the My Lollies web site, but there is no confirmation in the next step when you post a comment at the facebook site.

A very pointless comment markr. If its an important issue for you please write and post your own description.

I dont think I've ever put anything remotely truthful in one of these and wouldn't expect anyone signing up for the bag of lollies to either. Cold hard fact is that they are giving you a bag of lollies - they aren't an aid charity so of course there's a ulterior purpose. Whats probably a little more concerning is the linkage between the profile and your facebook account which may contain a heck of a lot more information on you. Smart, but a little slimy.

Er, How do you get a back of lollies sent to your address if you address is untruthful...The only thing I use Facebook for is for free samples...What is the point of facebook anyway????..

No I do not think you should create an alias just to get a free sample and possibly waste facebook investigators time, because that is one of the main reasons facebook exists.

The idea that it is a social network site is just a guise.

Really the only thing you should be careful is making sure that your 'password' you create for all the signups is different to any of your really important passwords.

The first batch has just been dispatched and the first 500 people to make an order should receive their lollies in the next 5 days.

Offtopic; Guys.. Stop arguing.. Stop spamming the thread and go somewhere else if you want to make a fuss.. I suggest you all grow up.
