looks decent! but you will need ADSL2+ for a smooth AV stream. tried it using my 8Mbps ADSL1, doesnt work well...

I'm also on adsl 1...sadly can't get cable nor adsl 2+ up my way.
But I'm very sure it's faster than 8MBps..

It does stop to stream sometimes..but I'm used to it, as that happens whenever I watch youtube too :D

I was watching some cartoons in Malay (from Malaysia), which I learned some in school many many many years ago.. was funny..cos I understand part of it, while other half just flew past my head haha

But yeah, be careful, as it will use alot of bandwidth, not different from watching videos on youtube. We had to upgrade from 10gb to 20gb due to youtube addiction haha

8mbps is the fastest ADSL1 available queenshrew.
12mbps is the maximum for ADSL2 and
24mbps is the fastest theoretical connection for ADSL2+

If you have a true 8mbps connection, you ought to be able to stream fine..
Problem is, most of us on 8mbps connections don't actually see 8mbps because of service limitations (I'm on a RIM) and because Telstra throttles our connections..
My service peaks at about 3mbps (in the dead of night) and dips to less than 1mbps during peak times (ie 4-9pm).
My line is crystal clear (as measured by my modem) and syncs at 8mbps..

Smart little add on. Will run on Mac if you have flip4mac installed. Might have to try it - thanks Queenie.
