Just popping this up to alert member's that aren't aware of Kmart's Lowest Price Guarantee
![]() This really does work, so if you see anything and Kmart is closer just show them the catalogue, not sure on none catalogue products, maybe they will ring the store to verify the price ![]() ![]() |

I went in there recently and was told that the 10% difference no longer applies, and they will simply match.
I used to work at kmart for many many years and usually the matching price policy depended on the manager that was on duty! |

Well that's strange, how can they not give it to you when they're still advertising it?
I had no problems last week, the Service assistant lady said, just take the items and catalogue to the register and they will adjust the total plus I got the 10% difference. ![]() |

I often use this and usually have no problems but like queenshrew it just depends on who you get. One guy told me once it no longer applies and I begged to differ and he went and asked someone else only to find out I was correct.
Another time another guy told me no and I complained to Head Office and they quickly sorted it out. So yes it does apply but you need to stand your ground and insist it is correct if someone says no. |

It's great for video games and other small items. Probably couldn't use it to get a good deal on a TV (mostly since kmart doesn't sell good TVs) but even if you find one you want, you will probably only get them to beat an advertised price but places like JB hi-fi are always willing to sell less than the price they actually advertise for.

Hmm does this still apply if your putting something on layby?? I just put the guitar hero 3 pack on layby there, they rang EB Games to confirm the special, but I didn't know you could get 10% off the difference as well...
Also how does that work 10% off the difference if they were to give it to me, because Kmarts price on the GH3 pack was still $149.99 - so does that mean because the difference was $75 they will give me a further 10% off the $75 price difference being $7.50 meaning I really should be paying $67.50? if so thats even a bigger bonus, considering I put two of the packs on layby, one for me one for my sister. ![]() Cheers Last edited by blackmyst : 23-11-2008 at 05:09 PM. |
