I like this set of knives: http://www.petersofkensington.com.au/Product/ProductInfo.aspx?id=1607982 That looks like a pretty good deal, but BOY they much be overpriced originally to be on sale that much.

The standard $25 postage is still a bit of a ripoff

Furi knives are not worth buying, you're better off with Global or any other Japanese brand. Furi knives are "designed" in Australia, & made in China, along with every other cheap stainless steel knife.

I've got the Furi knife sharpener set which would be worth getting if it's discounted. That postage is not so bad if you live out of NSW. Also in Tasmania we can only get that kind of stuff in Myer etc and various Home type shops with the commensurate mark up. There must be a huge profit margin on these fancy saucepans and knifes. Sodding celebrity chefs think they have a right to us buying their Range Rovers (not looking at you Jamie).

Hmm .. everything is relative .. and yet Kitchen Wharehouse that will match other store prices can ship from WA for a flat rate of $10!!
    not looking at you Jamie]
hehe .. Know what you mean, but Jamie ain't so bad .. at least he tries to give back and invents some innovation and the pukka lingo is just tolerable unlike #$%& Gordon Ramsay and Nigella who make a point of living high off the hog

What do you think?
