That's awesome! I was looking to upgrade my phone prematurely while it's still on contract.... if I get postpaid, does anyone know if I can get it unlocked for free immediately? I know you can on 3. Never been on vodafone...

Actually, it depends on handset, but they prefer you do it online where it's free, whereas there's a charge through the service centre.

From Vodafone. Some handsets are 'softlocked' to them, whereas others are 'hardlocked.' Softlocked ones can be done online which are free. You have to go through the service centre for hardlocked ones, for which there is a charge.

Only if you sign in through Buckscoop and get a NEW plan/New Number. As far as I know, you can't upgrade your phone and keep your original number and get cashback too, unfortunately.. unless you are transferring from another provider. :(

You can try this though if you want to keep your number and get cashback (but it requires extra effort).
Cancel your vodafone plan by transferring to a prepaid sim with another provider (e.g. Virgin etc), then sign up to Vodafone via Buckscoop and transfer your number back from the other provider ;)

but i never bought any deal via buckscoop so do not how it works , so if i click on the link that takes me to online voda shop and buy the deal from there. then ,

    1. How do I get 100$ cashback
    2. Voda site says 2 months free , would that be applicable with 100$ cashback

    Cheers,

A word of warning to those trying to get this deal. I applied for a vodafone plan last year through the Buckscoop link thinking that I would be able to get the buckscoop cashback, however no cashback was applied.

I even raised a ticket and contacted customer service but buckscoop just closed the ticket without offering me an explanation.

Just be aware that there is a risk that you will NOT get your cashback and take it into consideration.

Did you call up to change any part of your order?
If you did, I should warn you that Vodafone customer service will void your Buckscoop cashback and claim they are the ones who put your order through and take your commission.

Basically, if you order via Buckscoop, please do not call Vodafone up to change any part of your order, or even enquire about anything related to your order. If it is a big error, cancel your order and reorder again via Buckscoop. Vodafone customer service will tell you that they will do this or that to 'adjust/fix' your order which basically means they take the commission instead. Just the first thing that came to mind when I read your post as it has happened to me before.

It is ok to call up to port your number over from another ISP, but any other parts that you want to change (e.g phone type, plan type, etc) -- will essentially void your cashback.

I have no idea what you did, so I can't give you a direct answer, but please read my above response. If you contacted Vodafone anytime after you put your order through Buckscoop, that might be the reason. (Their customer service may have changed your order, which would mean your purchase is made through their customer service and not Buckscoop).

If you have never contacted Vodafone and your order went through as per normal and it got rejected - then I would definitely raise a ticket to find out why.

thx for the help ticket is now reopened and i have provided the additional details that buckscoop must need to process it until then i will keep comments on here but at this stage it looks hopeful of getting the cashback

Just wonder if anyone can confirm for me if the 10% discount on access fee to Vodafone new mobile postpaid plans applies to brand new customer or does this only applied for subsequent new ppst paid mobile plans for existing customer. The vodafone website stated that the 10% discount is only for the 2nd connection onwards.
