Vodafone Broadband Dongle $40 off at Coles

Get the Vodafone Broadband Dongle for only $59 - was $99.

I presume that this is the device for the pre-paid service. The offer appears to be available in multiple states.

Broadband speeds available in Vodafone 3G Mobile Broadband Zone. Check www.vodafone.com.au/coverage for coverage before purchase. Device is network locked, fee applies to unlock. Speeds may vary. Not available all stores.

Anyone know if this is a dual band dongle (900/2100MHz) or if its just the older style (2100MHz only)?

Also, does anyone know what the unlocking fee is?

EDIT: Also, Voda are selling their dongles online for $79 with free next day delivery so Coles are quoting the old price.

The picture looks like the E169 that is dual band. Am trying to see whether I can find out more information on it.

Some fellow over on whirlpool reckons it might be the Huawei K3765 which is 900/2100

Unlock fee of $25 applies for Vodafone devices if you do it online. I just checked the information and it comes under the 'handset unlock' however when you go to the actual page they state "vodafone devices"
You would still be ahead if you forked out the $25

The price listed is the old Coles sell price, not Vodafone's sell price.

    The unlock fee is $75.

A quick Internet search will find you lower cost solutions.

Apparently the 1G on activation offer still applies - which makes this an even better deal.

I thought that was a telstra offer port?
