TPG Home Phone is not available to any existing TPG customers.
TPG Home Phone does not support Fax, EFTPOS, Back to Base alarms, Foxtel program purchase and analogue modems.
Once an ADSL2+ with TPG Home Phone plan is purchased:
- Change of plan option is restricted to ADSL2+ with TPG Home Phone bundles only.
- You cannot cancel either component (ADSL2+ or Home Phone). Cancellation will cease both services.

Important Things You Need to Know:
TPG Home Phone Number:
At registration time, you can choose to port your existing number to TPG or have TPG supply a Direct Inward Dial Number (DID) for use with the TPG Home Phone service. This number will be allocated to you based on the address which you provide us at the time of registration.
TPG will make use of your number as a reference point to charge for local calls. TPG will use its best endeavours to supply the Integrated Public Number Database (IPND) with your address details for the purpose of emergency services (000) calling.
TPG Home Phone Deposit:
At the time of registration, we debit $20 that is kept as a deposit for all call usage and $10 Minimum Monthly Call Spend shortfall. If your deposit falls below $5 at any time, your account will be automatically debited to bring your Home Phone Deposit back to $20.
Minimum Monthly Call Spend:
TPG Home phone requires a Minimum Monthly Call Spend of $10 per month. If you make less than $10 worth of calls in any month, your account will be automatically adjusted so that the difference will also be taken from your TPG Home Phone Deposit in arrears on the 1st day of each billing cycle. For example, if you only make $6 worth of calls in one month, we will deduct an additional $4 from your TPG Home Phone Deposit to bring the Call Spend Amount to $10.
Usage Quota and Speed Shaping:
Upload traffic is not counted unless specified. 1GB (Gigabyte) = 1000 MB (Megabyte). Unused usage quota forfeited each month.
1Consists of peak (8am-2am) and off peak (2am-8am) monthly usage quota. Speed will be shaped to 1Mbps/1Mbps for the period in which the monthly usage quota has been exceeded (peak and/or off peak).
2Consists of peak (8:30am-3:30am) and off peak (3:30am-8:30am) monthly usage quota. Speed will be shaped to 2Mbps/1Mbps for the period in which the monthly usage quota has been exceeded (peak and/or off peak).
3Speed will be shaped to 4Mbps/1Mbps once inclusive monthly usage quota is reached.
*Monthly Usage Quota:
TPG may, on giving you 7 days notice by email, adjust the start/finish (but not the length) of peak/off peak times.
Monthly access charges are billed monthly in advance.
Payment options are Direct Debit or Credit Card.
All ADSL2+ with TPG Home Phone plans come with Static IP address.
Optimal ADSL2+ speeds require compatible ADSL2+ modem and filters. Around 70% of TPG ADSL2+ customers can achieve speeds greater than 10Mbps. Actual speeds will vary due to many factors including distance from the local telephone exchange, the quality of the customers copper phone line, cabling and equipment.
Free TPG IPTV Trial requires a minimum speed of 3.5Mbps. Number of free channels available for viewing is subject to exchange capabilities. Free TPG IPTV Trial does not include subscription based channels. To register please visit www.tpg.com.au/iptv once your ADSL2+ connection is active.
ADSL2+ with TPG Home Phone
TPG offers ADSL2+ with TPG Home phone to customers who currently have an active copper line (Customer must be able to make AND receive phone calls)
Provision of ADSL2+ with TPG Home phone is subject to Service Qualification Check upon registration.
Your ADSL2+ with TPG Home phone application takes approximately 10 to 20 working days for the connection to occur, depending on customers location.
