Tip: Dell pricing mistake 24"TFT monitor ecode Q142407WHC for $599

It seems that Dell sent a fax of special offers out with the 24" TFT listed at $599 delivered instead of $799.
Someone took the current $200 dicount off twice!

Now you may or may not get lucky with this one and you do need to call dells sales reps to get it and it will have to be today only.

Call and say you have had a fax from them at your place of work and quote ecode Q142407WHC for $599 delivered.

Quite a few have been sucsessful in ordering today so far, good luck!

That is a really nice price on the 24", thanks Sandy. Dell must be trying to offload some monitors again :D But good for us
  • nod2007/10/31 19:16:19
Obviously no cashback for this one as the transaction is not online
  • wheadle2007/10/31 19:56:11
Hot vote here Sandy, be on the phone tomorrow
  • trevorf2007/10/31 22:23:12
The extra 2" is still quite priccy. :(
  • nod2007/10/31 22:25:26
do you mean a comparison b/w the 22 and the 24" Trevorf?
  • trevorf2007/10/31 22:28:02
Yeah, but then I guess 2" is alot of extra screen space , esp. at that size.

24" Dell Deal is working again! for $599!! Hurry

    Hey Thanks Trevorf :)
What is the price on the 22" at the mo then ?
  • trevorf2007/10/31 23:23:13
Well ~300 for other brands, Dell outlet had 'em for 306. But then I guess you could say that the 22" are lower quality panels.
  • gstok2007/11/01 10:38:42
Yeah these are the Ultrasharp 8-bit panels with 92% colour gamut, and not the 6-bit panels with 72% gamut you see in all 22" models. So it's a "premium" monitor in that respect, especially for those in the design, photography, and video fields.

  • sandgroper2007/11/02 02:11:37
    isnt is 599 pounds?

Thats pretty darn heavy for a TFT even at 24" :w00t:

Did I clip the wrong key somewhere?
  • sandgroper2007/11/02 02:13:32
    Thanks sandgroper

    Order placed!!

Glad to help Mike, hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine, Crysis is the biz on it.
  • sandgroper2007/11/02 02:26:08
I can see now where dell made the error, the new "cheaper 24" TFT" is now priced at .......

$599 for a Dell E248WFP 24" Widescreen Flat Panel LCD Monitor

I bet the guy who sent the fax is not getting a bonus this Xmas.
  • schlemster2007/11/02 04:00:32

  • sandgroper2007/11/02 05:25:48
Maybe, give the guy a call later in the morning and see. Report back so we can expire the thread if your unlucky though please.
  • ozpete2007/11/27 22:00:33
SandGroper Thanks for this one. The monitor finally arrived - obviously the demand must have been high - but with the savings its was worth waiting for.
  • sandgroper2007/11/28 01:52:56
