Ticketmaster - realValue Card By Ticketmaster - Only $19.95 + $500 Travel Voucher.

Not too sure if this is in the correct section, but here goes

Become a member for less than $20, enables you to get discount at plenty of different stores around Australia, including purchase of Woolworths gift cards at a discount, which I understand could even be used for petrol or similar.

Seems to be much the same as the Entertainment book that a lot of people can purchase through fundraising.

You also get $500 worth of travel vouchers and the chance to win $2000 of Ticketmaster vouchers.

May be worth a look for someone.

Regards

Mal

I like the discount on gift cards but it dosnt say how much or how often you can use it. Has any one had one before?

    Thanks Mel

Would be nice to see the full list of what the card entitles us to.

    Hi guys,
This is a club lifestyle card and they generally give 5% off coles gift cards... I am currently waiting on one from another company. They are designed to 'sweeten the deal' when you join certain clubs. My son has been signed up for catalogue photos and the management company gives them to all the families. It is hard to find out the exact deals unless you sign up.
I will post the particulars when I get mine if you like.
    Cheers.

I have been a member before (and just signed up as this is a good deal)

You order the gift cards online and they post them to you. We never paid for the registered post option and the cards always arrived.

From memory, you get 5% discount on Coles, Woolies Wishcard, 7.5% on places like Roger David, 10% on Rivers... it is worth it. Make sure you buy the Wishcard rather than the specific giftcards in that chain (eg Woolworths), as the wishcard can be used at all (Dick Smiths, BWS etc)

The only down side is that sometimes the cards would take a while to arrive in the post, so if you want them to make a particular purchase, you need to buy them early. I just found I had to be organised.

Very good option if you want to buy vouchers for presents as they are just a regular gift voucher - no one has to know you only paid $45 for the $50 gift voucher you just gave them!!

I think you also get 10% off anything from Isubscribe (which is already very cheap for most magazine subscriptions.

We worked out how much cheaper it would make our subscription to Reader's Digest (we saved $35 a year compared to the standard subscription rate through RD itself when we combine Isubscribe price and 10% club lifestyle disc) Then we rang RD and asked if they could match the price or whether we had to just cancel our subscription and join again through Isubscribe - RD didn't want that and the guy on the phone matched the price instantly!

Is $20 is one off fee or an annual fee?

does any1 no if there are restrictions on the movie tickets?

Well I went ahead & purchased one of these cards and to date not too impressed. The idea itself is simple enough and worth the $19.95 purchase price, however they are simply not able to 'deliver' - literally. it took 5 weeks for my card to arrive after i paid for it - and only then after a phone call at 3 wk to track it down, then another 2 weeks to arrive. Then when i did put in an order ($265.00 worth) i am still waiting 4 weeks down the track for that to arrive. Very, very slow and staff are all care but no responsibility.

Have you received the travel vouchers yet Bronone?
  • ExoticFamiliarity2009/10/29 07:37:47
I am wondering what the travel voucher entitles you to as well! $500 seems like a lot for just 19.95... But I'm guessing there are some kind of Terms and Conditions on this.
  • ExoticFamiliarity2009/10/29 07:41:37
Oh I just realised this was an OLD link... Cos I couldn't find where it said anything about free $500 travel vouchers...

So I doubt the offer is still active?

5 weeks and still waiting for $600 worth of gift vouchers here.
I think I will ring and see if I can cancel my purchase as they can't seem to deliver on the goods.
