Yep, I've used them. What would you like to know?

Think Mobile is operated by PivoTel, a fairly big outfit that operates satellite and terrestrial telephony equipment. So Think Mobile looks like another Mickey Mouse MVNO outfit - but they're not. :)

Thanks for that. Not looking for any specific info just like to know people have dealt with them before I use/recommend :)

This is the only free phone you get on the Simple 12 6 month plan. All the other phones are only free on a 12 month contract and $36 plan
Nokia 1650 is good value as the min on the simple 12 plan is $72 and the phone in worth about $55

That price should give you an idea of the price range.

TM's CS manager has previously said on WP that they may order other handsets on request if the customer would like something different. But keep in mind the price range (as above), and that they can't order everything.

I figured some people would probably give it more weight than an anonymous poster on an Internet forum. :)

The Simple 12 plan won the 2008 Money Magazine award for Best Mobile Plan — Low usage. Simple 12 Plus and the $50 cap are new plans.

Think Mobile have plans for heavier users as well, such as the $36 cap with $200 included value, or the $50 cap with $500 included value.

Looks like a really good deal!
Pity I have 2 phones at the moment - I kept my old phone plan (free calls to/from my parents) plus hubby signed me up for a new plan on his account for an iPhone (free calls to/from hubby). I don't make alot of calls, but my mum and hubby calls me all the time!!! Everytime my phone rings, I have to drop my bag on the pavement and dig around for the culprit! I have so much trouble figuring which phone's ringing as hubby set my 2 phones to have similar ringtones! Doh! Imagine if I have 3 :p I'll be tagged the crazy phone lady! Although I do have a question..

Would the phone be locked to the 'Think Simple' network, or can I put in an optus card?
Was thinking that perhaps it's time mum upgrade her phone.

The phones on the site aren't locked.

Having said that, you can buy most of the handsets outright at your local shopping mall anyway…

Oh, I forgot to mention - Seniors Card discount applies to some plans, if you happen to hold one. :)
