I wonder if anyone actually got anything... I kept trying and next thing the sale is over. For all we know there could have been 2 x 1 pound items ....
  • fairybelle2010/04/17 23:52:12
No, there was lots of stuff apparently.... There was this UK outnet sale and a US one... If you read the Vogue forum, the girls on there bagged some great buys!

The only way to enter the sale was from a link that was sent to you if you rsvp them before the sale started. There was a lot of stuff and handbags went off the fastest. Apparently it was something like 9 products a second being bought which was the biggest cause of the servers crashing. You would think they would have anticipated that though.

I clicked through the link they sent me but it didn't take me to a sale page :(

I clicked through the link and kept getting a server error, never even got through to the sale page. I don't seem to have much luck with these server crashing sales!

Good to know that there was actually stuff and it was a genuine sale though. Good marketing strategy on the Outnets part because many people would have signed up with them for the sale (I did!)

I know their site starting failing less than a minute into the sale, as I was right there when it opened. Yeah, was a good marketing strategy to get us signing up before the sale. I hope they have another sale like that though, as I'll never be giving them a thousand pound for a dress. In the mean time you will find me be bobbing around the sales in Kmart, and Target and Big W. I love my favourite pair of black jeans I got from Target marked to $9 and my favourite blue jeans marked to $4.
