    Thanks for letting us know Betty
  • kvadhar2010/02/02 14:15:20
    What if I had opened a term deposit with ST George using buchscoop 6 months ago and that deposit matured and account has been closed as well. Am I eligible to use it again?
  • melscott282010/02/02 14:17:43
    can we open a account and credit card and receive both cashbacks. Thats if they still have the credit card one - i didnt check.
  • BuckscoopBetty2010/02/02 15:05:39
    Hi kvadhar, as you have already received cashback on your St George term deposit, you would be ineligible to receive it twice. The offer is for "new customers only". We have to be careful with these generous offers from financial institutions, as if they are misused we will lose them.
  • BuckscoopBetty2010/02/02 15:09:06
    Hi melscott, opening one bank account and one credit card account is no problem, you would be entitled to both cashbacks :)

    St George has increased its credit card accounts to $100 for either a Vertigo or Platinum card.
  • nmehta2010/02/03 16:44:51
    How will the cashback be paid after opening the account?

    Hi :-)

    Just wondering, I'm an existing St George customer but I only have an everyday transaction account. If I open a Direct Saver Account linked to my everyday account, would I be eligible for the $50 cashback?

    Cheers
  • Stephanie94202010/02/04 13:17:31
    I opened a Direct Saver account 2 months ago, and I opened an Express Freedom Account yesterday, but now it's tracked as Direct Saver, so would that be considered as multiple transactions?
  • corrad2010/02/07 12:34:16
    Just giving everyone a head's up, I opened an account back in August of last year, and St. George still will not confirm with buckscoop that I had indeed opened an account.

    At least buckscoop communicates with me on a semi regular basis. In addition, it appears that I am not the only person who is having tracking issues.
  • ciciyang2010/02/07 13:10:09
    Corrad- so glad to see your post. I thought I was the only one. I get regular emails from Buckscoop but my understanding is that St George has basically decided they don't know who I am even though we have other accounts with them.

    has anyone received Stgeorge cashback ?

    Yeah - St Gerorge have paid out on a a significant number of transactions. The problem lies with any transaction enquiries. The network that look after the program are not very good (to put it politely) at responding to queries. I am also guessing that as they are a bank, St G are not to happy to part with their cash :D

    Yeah ... we are sorry about the delay you are experiencing Corrad
    We are doing the best we can but as I mention above, the network DGMPro really are dragging their heals and they often don't even bother to reply to emails. This seems to be happening to a number of other affiliates too
    We may need to stop promoting any DGMPro merchants at all !

    Would I be receiving 3x 50 bucks if I were to open a Direct Saver, Complete Freedom Account & a Term Deposit account?
  • golfwidow2010/02/17 10:17:49
    Hi and welcome to Buckscoop stalker878 :)
    I will double check with Admin but I am pretty sure it is only 1 cashback amount for 1 account. So you can open all threee but will only receive one $50 cashback payment.

    Edit:
    Nope I was wrong. If it is three different accounts it is possible to receive 3x$50. Just remember to clear your cookies and keep all emails etc in case it doesn't track and you may need to submit a ticket.

    Also please note it is not quick cash. It can take several months for the Buckscoop Cashback to be paid into your account :)

    This doesnt work. I already have a Direct Saver, yet when I click on goto deal it always wants me to signup for a Direct Saver!

    Cannot signup to:

    * Express Freedom Account
    * Complete Freedom Account
    * St George Term Deposits

    I'm in the same boat. The good folks here at Buckscoop have been trying to get a response out of them about the tracking of my St George cashback since June last year, but have had no joy whatsoever. I'm thinking we should probably just give up

    It would even be nice if this DGMPro mob would even just respond to say yes they know what went wrong or no they simply can't work it out. So far it just seems like they can't be bothered.

    That about sums it up nlafanclub. You wouldnt believe how annoying it is when you have to put up with the 'C.B.F' factor and 'we don't care' attitude. We have to constantly battle with all the affiliate networks over transactions that havent tracked correctly. They just dont get it.

    I think that sometimes there is a bit of this.
    We are looked upon as the money grabbing end. The merchant is happy as they have their transaction and the middleman network get their piece but the end of the line, you Buckscoopers, are left to wait.
    The vast majority of transactions go through without a hitch but some (and I do say some as a lot of merchants/networks are great) just get left and ignored.

    I just signed up for a Direct Saver account and at the end it came up with an Application Confirmation page with a number and then:

    " For security reasons, before we can link your Direct Saver account to the account you have selected, we need to confirm that you own that account.

    Please complete these steps:

    1.Print a copy of the attached Proof of Linked Account Ownership form.*
    2. Ensure the details are correct and sign the form.
    3. Return the form with a copy of your linked account statement (no older than 6 months) by fax 02 9845 4313, email STGEORGEONLINEAPPPROCESS@stgeorge.com.au or post to St.George Processing, Reply Paid 1101, Parramatta NSW 2124.
    "

    Seeing as it's not FULLY confirmed until I send the form, will the cashback still track properly to my account? ---- (I just got an email saying the account is open, but won't be linked to my normal bank account until I do the above)
  • nod2010/03/23 19:07:07
    Hi Brodie - if you have received confirmation that the account is indeed open and you completed the application form via a Buckscoop link then my understanding is that you should indeed be eligible for Buckscoop cashback. ie your transaction should track

    If you don't see the transaction in your earnings after 14 days then please generate a transaction enquiry

    Applied online thru the link and I have received confirmation that my Direct Saver is now open and have received letters today with all the account details.

    Should I wait 14 days from today or from the date of application?
