May be a stupid question but what is this? Anything like an external hardrive? Im easily confused :o

Its an internal hard drive for Desktops capable of using SATA drives.

It can also be used in an external enclosure suited to SATA drives to give you a large USB external storage solution. You would need to find a suitable external case for it.

These are actually still available :)

Netplus have it for $99 too - delivery fees might be better than Centrecom
Sometimes you can snag free delivery with Netplus if you are an OCAU member but not with this item :(

Or call a store and go in yourself if they have stock to avoid shipping. Elsternwick (Vic) had stock on Thursday.
