Can anyone confirm if you get buckscoop cashback on top of the 10%
  • lilpretzel2008/03/05 15:14:29
To me I think they would still pay our cashback, their 10% cashback is paid to your paypal account.

Nod will know for sure. ( I hope )

Can anyone confirm if you get buckscoop cashback on top of the 10%

Thanks for the deal post Mikespencer.
All I can say at the moment is that I have no knowledge of HT refusing cashback on the basis of a paypal offer. And we did have quite a few HT transactions track when the offer was around last time. So it is looking good :)

I can get coles group staff discount there of 5% so I'm hoping I can get 10% paypal + 5% staff + 4.05% buckscoop cashback for a total of 19.05% cashback but I think that may be pushing it. Worth a try but.

Just made a purchase then. You can online pay using paypal if you choose to get it delivered rather than pick up from a store so if postage cost is more than the 10% cashback, might be better for store pickup

    thats a good stack mike.
  • mikepspencer2008/04/11 17:08:56
anyone got paid there 10% cashback yet?
  • gstok2008/04/11 23:47:37
Nope, still waiting here. :( So much for "credited into your PayPal account shortly after the end of the promotion".

Needs chasing up I think, but not got around to it myself as yet.
  • nod2008/04/12 00:16:42
shortly is a very vague term I guess. And is completely subjective
  • gstok2008/04/16 15:23:24
I rang HT today and they said they need to manually check this out for me. They're going to phone me back.

That makes me think that automatic payments have been done.

So if you haven't been credited you should give HT a call.
  • admin2008/04/16 17:13:28
Let us know what they come back with.
  • VTIRoof2008/04/16 17:56:26
FYI I waited around 6 weeks for the PayPal cashback the first time HT had this promotion(although don't know if it was HT/PayPal getting their systems in place to handle or not). but it did eventually turn up. Also, they did pay the buckie on the transation.
  • gstok2008/04/24 15:12:08
OK, well it got paid in today, 5 weeks after purchase.

My promised callback from HT never happened.

So pretty poor effort overall from HT and bad wording to say 'shortly after the promotion ends'.

I got it paid on the 24th too. I sent an email the day before. Not sure if that had anything to do with it
