I read somewhere last week that a mayor or council or government somewhere (OK, details are sketchy! :p) is trying to ban the use of the little resealable bags (the itty bitty ones, not these big A4 jobs) to cut down/eradicate drug sales!!!

IMAGINE if all the drug dealers had to start using A4 size bags! :w00t:

COUNCIL | They're 'Marketing 101' for drug dealers, cop says

Tiny plastic bags used to sell small quantities of heroin, crack cocaine, marijuana and other drugs would be banned in Chicago, under a crackdown advanced Tuesday by a City Council committee.

Ald. Robert Fioretti (2nd) persuaded the Health Committee to ban possession of "self-sealing plastic bags under two inches in either height or width," after picking up 15 of the bags on a recent Sunday afternoon stroll through a West Side park."

Wonders will never cease. Thought of these for us to protect important documents like birth certificates, etc. or keep things dry when off camping but never thought of drugs. Might be an expensive purchase if they sold them in this size bag! (Better start stockpiling my little ones for my craft bits & pieces before they get banned here too.)
