NUBRELLA

Posted By: JoshHoward, posted 2008/05/20 18:42
Introducing nubrella; "The Ultimate Weather Protector". Nubrella is no ordinary umbrella. It protects you against rain, wind, sleet, snow and extreme cold. It is an umbrella for all inclement weather conditions not just rain.

Look rain, no hands! Space helmet-like umbrella lets your hands get on with business
It happens every time it rains. Productivity on the street goes down 50 percent as one good hand, which could be used for texting, coffee-clutching, hand-holding or gesticulating, gets monopolized by an unwieldy umbrella.

Don't be scared of wearing this one because if you pay attention to what people wear or use these days you'll understand plus I've been hanging for days for it too rain so I could use it so SHOW IT OFF.

NOTE***:A MISTAKE WAS MADE AS THE POSTAGE IS $44.95...yET IN CANADA POSTAGE IS $9.95

Looks intresting but I wouldn't be seen 'wearing' that thing! :D Maybe if it got into fashion (which I don't think it will) but leaving this one to the brave ones. :)

    :D
Reminds me of those piccies from Japan :D Anything the reduces the space that people take up with their umbrellas is a good thing as far as I am concerned :)

Not sure I would buy one though :D

It's $49.95 - not exactly a large sum of money. It is $5 off what I pay for my umbrella. It is made by a Shelta, a reputable umbrella making company that offers lifetime guarantee. :)

    LOL Leny
no surprise that you have an airline umbrella :D

    I don't think I have ever owned a brolly ... I have a thing against them I think :o

    :whistling:
  • leny2008/05/20 18:54:25
Yep nod, but I can't find it. :( It doesn't rain much in Brisbane, so I can't exactly say I miss it, but I haven't seen it anywhere for about 2 weeks.
I am going to order another one.

Absolutely pointless if you ask me. Hilarious, but useless. All the Dome is going to do is channel water down your pants and shoes and there's less protection against water than the average brolly where you can at least angle it to gain max protection.

I love the way it shows her hand out of the nubrella - I give it 1 min and it'll be soggy
  • admin2008/05/20 20:40:52
Not to mention that you'd look like a bit of a nobhead walking down the road with this on.
  • craftykiwi2008/05/20 20:46:25
Think I'd give it a go(???) if the price wasn't so dear. In the rain most people have their heads down so you might be able to slip by unnoticed and stay dry to boot!

Here in Melbourne brolleys tend to be useless - often turned inside out and all that and I like the idea of hands-free when it's biting cold.

    Damn straight.
  • craftykiwi2008/05/20 20:56:19
Who worries about that these days?? I'm pretty tame (and boring), but have you seen what some people wear and do to themselves in the name of fashion, fad, anti-establishment or alternative lifestyle?
  • leny2008/05/20 20:57:55
Yes I have seen that, but I don't think that this is the 'look' for me.

The 'nature' of my clothes has always been more business inclined.

They don't. This Nubrella is actually made of heavy-duty rip off. :D

My pop bought this one he tried it and so did i and the water does not roll down onto your pants + if it did a normal umbrella would do that too.

I just popped one in my cart and it first came up with $9.95 for shipping to the US/Canada but when you click on the international purchase icon it most certainly comes up with $44.95 for shipping and it will take 2-4 weeks
