Is anyone else losing faith in the inbiased reporting from ACA and Today Tonight. About 9/10 of their "stories" are thinly veiled advertising. You start watching a story to find out about ways to save money on your groceries, only to discover it is a cover for an advert on deals direct's new site. I'm just wondering how much they charge for the service??

Very true, never trust what you see on those shows. Just thought it would give people an idea of what they will be selling.

How many times a year can they run a Catch Of The Day story?
It's the same story over and over.. blah blah blah..

    Pre Launch Announcement

SupermarketDeals is a big, new, and organised machine. We're working extremely hard to ensure that we change the way Aussies shop online.

In light of recent backlogs in the industry, we’re working really hard to make sure that our machine is well oiled. To ensure that all our customers can order and receive their items in the fastest possible time , we'd like to let you in on some of the things we're proactively putting in place..

We're planning a staggered launch. We've got so much interest, it only seems fair to everyone that we stagger the release of your 15% coupon codes. Each one of you will be picked at random and grouped into launch phases. Each phase (at its allotted time) will be sent their individual coupon codes and directed to the site to Start Shopping! Don’t worry, you will have 4 days to use your individual coupon from when you receive it. Wohoo!

We also want to make sure everyone has a fair go at getting what they want, so initially you’ll be able to purchase only 10 items of any particular product.

And the 10th story is about "the neighbour from hell" :)

Nothing too exciting on the site.. I had to laugh at some of the prices, Arnott's Crackers Jatz Original 250g for $3.00 :whistling:
  • Victorious2011/06/03 21:29:29
Yep, waste of time. Also, I don't get why is there a limit of 10 items per product.
  • kazyazy2011/06/04 01:47:27
Its terrible and postage is way too high for me
  • Rebekah762011/06/04 08:06:13
I agree. Disappointed with the prices. If you know your shopping, you can often get these products for this price (or much cheaper in some cases) in the supermarket on sale.

That being said - I'll still stay on their mailing list and wait for the one off specials - hopefully they get cheaper on those!
