It's coming up to the end of the Financial Year and we would like to thank you for being a JetMail member with a very special offer.

Get a Jetstar flight voucher in 3 easy steps!

Simply:

1. Book a return flight at Jetstar.com by 02 June 2008, where the return date for your trip is on or before 30 June 2008.

2. Make sure you use the email address that you have used to register for JetMail (ie. the email address we have used to mail this email to you) in the booking process.

3. We'll email you a $25 Jetstar flight voucher within 28 days to put towards your next flight with us.

TERMS:
The outbound and return flights must be for travel between the same ports, and be booked in the same transaction.

To use your voucher, you must book within 6 months of the voucher issue date, for travel within 12 months. One voucher per JetMail subscriber. If you book a return flight for more than one person you will receive only one voucher. The voucher cannot be used to book the return flight in step 1 above. Further conditions apply.

You must pay by credit card for departures within 14 days of the date of booking. For all payments by credit or charge card an additional $5 per passenger per international flight will apply and $3 per passenger per domestic flight.

It's that easy!

I would recommend using the email address you have signed up to JetMail with, or becoming a JetMail subscriber before using this deal.

Hi, I'm new here so not sure if this is how you post an offer.
I got the same offer via email today, but for a $100 voucher, not $25.

    This is the link:

    Hope that works. Cheers :)

    Awesome queenshrew :)

The only thing that I'm left wondering is whether the voucher offer works with different emials - ie, if I was to create a new subscription to the newsletter now.

We'll probably leave your link here until we sort out what the deal is with email addresses - but in future all you need to do when you have something like this is hit the button up the top right that says 'Submit A Deal' and the rest of the process is pretty self explanatory. Welcome to Buckscoop :)

Hi queenshrew. Thanks for your post.

I think that this is a luck of the draw promotion because there is also a $50 Voucher.

admin: You can access the different pages by changing the numbers in the URL from 25 to 50 to 100. I think that you will have to use the same email address where you received it.

I have just changed the heading. Interesting promotion for them to be giving people different vouchers. And I would say it depends on luck. :) Unless, queenshrew, you have booked many many many flights this year? I've booked maybe 10 or 15 with Jetstar but not more.

Do they check the email address out Leny ?

    Thanks for the welcome :)

Leny: No we don't fly Jetstar within Australia, preferring either Qantas or Virgin blue.

However, we flew with Jetstar to Hawaii last year.
Then this month, I booked for 6 of us to Asia.
Maybe all those overseas bookings affected the voucher?
    I'm not sure though.. :)

How was the flight over to Hawaii with Jetstar Queenshrew?
I guess the value of the flights you booked would have added up. It would make sense for jetstar to reward the customers on a 'amount spent' basis

Nod: We flew Starclass and it was fantastic. We got the tix on promotion and they were the same price as economy on other airlines.

So I can't tell you how economy would be like on an overseas trip... I'll update you after my trip to Asia on economy class :)
  • nod2008/05/28 20:50:22
Ah cool. Thanks. May I ask what 'extras' you received with your Starclass on the long haul flight? That is compared to the standard economy? :)
  • queenshrew2008/05/29 01:45:17
Silver service for food & drinks (They actually come around and take your order like in a restaurant) - glassware (no plastic cups), spacious seats that let you stretch-- esp nice for long journeys with the comfort pack included. Also, unlimited movies/etc with your own personal screen/earphones.

Thinking of flying sometime soon? ;)
  • leny2008/05/29 02:52:55
I can't say I was impressed with Jetstar Starclass. I wouldn't say that I'm hard to please when it comes to service-higher-than-economy, but Starclass does not cut it.

More Cattle Class than Star Class would be my thoughts

I see webjet have a $100 cashback offer out at the moment if you make an 'eligible' international booking and pay via paypal. I thought about listing it as a deal but when I read it a little more closely they limited the giveaway to the first 500 eligible bookings made. That changed my mind on it because there's no way of telling whether its 'eligible' before you book. So would be a bit more like a lottery than a good deal. Very slimey promotion if you ask me.
