JB HiFi - For Renaissance (dance label) Lovers - IN STORE ONLY

In stores only - not online!

There are a LOT of their titles floating around Melbourne, and perhaps elsewhere, for 5 bucks new. Yup, 5 bucks! Titles on this label are rarely reduced.

Spotted at:

JB Hi Fi Prahran (just a few, not easy to find)
JB Hi Fi Lonsdale St, Melbourne (next to the dance section)
Virgin South Yarra (heaps - all over the store)

JB Hi Fi also have them in Bourke St, Melbourne but are wrongly charging $10 for em.

It doesn't have the very latest ones but many of their back catalogue including such gem DJs are Phil K, Luke Chable, Hernan Cattaneo, Sander Kleinenberg, Dave Seaman, John Digweed, and more!

    Mr Digweed:

s known for promoting a progressive trance/house sound ....Digweed has been broadcasting a weekly radio show on Kiss 100 in the UK since September 2000....

Renaissance doof doof is hmmm, hard to classify. Somewhere between house and trance and progressive. It's not 'stereotypical' dance music traditionally, but all depends on the DJ of course.

John Digweed is one of the world's best known DJs, and ranks in the top 5 every year. I've had the pleasure of seeing him play a number of times in London and he was brilliant.

He used to sometimes play at Bedrock@Heaven on a Thursday night (Bedrock is his record label). We're talking early 2000s.
