Wow! I am so thrilled with this one - I subscribed before I posted it! :)

Thanks to Brad's link from last week, you can save 10% on subscriptions through iSubscribe.

** Nappy Freebie apparently SOLD OUT!! **

My Child Magazine subs are normally $30 (a saving of 25%), and the "next 120 subscribers" will receive a free BumGenius nappy (retails at $28). These nappies are great. Shaped like a disposable and made of microfibres and PUL, my son had one on while we were out today. Simple and easy to use, wash, reuse, reuse, reuse, reuse, and so on...

So - pay $27 for your sub, get 6.75% cash back, get a nappy worth $28 (which you can sell on ebay or to me if you don't want it!), and get a year's worth of "My Child" magazine (4 issues). - and one week's membership at Curves gyms!

From the My Child site:
"Be one of the first 120 subscribers to receive this delightful BumGenius nappy

I seriously can't vote for this one myself? Man, it is SUCH a great deal! :D

AND I just found out I get a week's free membership at Curves gym!
  • nod2008/03/17 18:30:49
Yep.. no voting for yourself :D
I will give you a hot vote though. One thing I will say is that we do not have confirmation that iSubscribe will pay out on the deep link ie the one that gives you 10% off. They have been strict about this in the past.
So we need to see the cashback with this deal as a added bonus and not a given I am afraid

Simple and easy to use, wash, reuse, reuse, reuse, reuse, and so on...

So do you only wash it after the first use, and then never again? :p
  • ScarletRubies2008/03/17 19:53:41
    Of course.

As for cash back, I reckon it's worth hoping for - but minus whatever GST I was charged, it wouldn't come near the $3 discount anyway I guess. Shame not to get tons more for less, but I'm still stoked with the deal. Besides, I probably jinxed myself by using Paypal! :)

    http://img341.imageshack.us/img341/7500/hotanimateuv8.giffrom me ruby great price.

The only thing I dislike about buying subscriptions is you don't get the freebies.

I grabbed Dolly the other day for the girls and scored a pair of Kissed lovable pj set for $24 free.

I guess thats why you pay a reduce price ;)
  • Keeys2008/04/07 23:58:26
I wasn't going to bother with this but decided to.

I'm putting together a baby pack for SIL and I'll keep mag for myself and put nappy in the basket of goodies along with the sock holders, baby legs etc etc

    Hot from me :)

too bad... the nappy offer should be expired by now..no mention about it in the link
  • ScarletRubies2008/04/08 10:18:03
The offer doesn't expire until May, Geo - it's limited to the first 120 new subscribers. If it makes you more comfortable, I'll add the expiration date and it'll expire all on its own. I would assume though that come May, there may not be any more nappies available. I couldn't say for sure, and doubt the magazine would give out that info.

I've received my first copy of the magazine and am pretty impressed; I hadn't read it before I don't think. It's a magazine, so the information is not as in depth as it could be, but certainly gives food for thought and a means of researching more info. Nappies will be sent by post approximately 6 weeks after the offer closes (which would make it the end of June).

AND the Easter comp is over, so I voted myself HOT!

i said it should be expired since it's 20 days since you posted and the nappies offer might not be available as people subscribed. also, i coudn't find any info about the offer on the link you provided or there is no info on the actual magazine site: http://www.isubscribe.com.au/title_info.cfm?prodID=18048

No, Geo, you didn't. You said:

The nappy deal is NOT expired. Whether stock remains or not, I have no way of knowing, but the information I posted is completely correct. The deal stands, and is offered to the first 120 subscribers. I included plenty of info from the magazine site, and the offer is clearly one from iSubscribe, being stacked to the max. Your lack of ability to find information at the sites you claim to have looked at is not my problem, nor does it mean there's anything wrong with the deal I posted.

In future if you've got a complaint about one of my deals, go to a mod. I'm sure they'll be happy to whip me with a wet noodle if they feel it is warranted. In the meantime, stick to hitting the expired button at will.

sorry for the missunderstanding. i looked on the magaizne webiste and search for the offer. it is here: http://www.mychildmagazine.com.au/SUBSCRIBE/tabid/58/Default.aspx

i called the number they provided there and they said the offer is not available any more. and i quote: " with these kind of offers you should be very quick as the stocks are limited".

please feel free to call them as well: Poppet Media on +61 2 9571 8596

    thank you
  • geo782008/04/09 06:49:43
sorry, but please expire the deal as it is not available anymore.
  • ScarletRubies2008/04/09 09:18:09
Oh, please, can we just *expire* this deal which is STILL available, STILL 10% off at iSubscribe, STILL closes in May - because Geo has RUNG the magazine and they told him there's no free nappies left....
  • geo782008/04/09 11:18:07
    wow rofl :w00t:
  • MamaK2008/04/09 16:00:27
woah, steering clear of this thread LOL
  • lilpretzel2008/04/09 16:49:33
Sorry not expiring this deal as the extra 10% still remains but we can state the freebie is no longer available.

No wet noodling for you Ruby but may I stress we treat each other with respect and if you have a problem with a member or deal please PM a moderator, I do not want to see members having a free for all on the forum.

    No pointing fingers at anybody.

    :D
  • nod2008/04/09 19:18:57
I am 100% behind Lilpretzel on this one :)

Different opinions are always welcome in the forum. However I am sad to note that a certain tone has entered a lot of comments that is edgey and in some cases just not nice.

All I ask is that before you hit the 'post' button have a re read of your comment and ask yourself if you would like to have that comment directed at you. It may just be a forum ... but please remember that there are other people on the other side of your screen :D

You don't need an account to leave a comment. Just enter your email address. We'll keep it private. :)
