Nice on Sandgroper - many thanks!
Cheapest on staticice is $200 + delivery.
The black cartridge is $40 at OW, & delivery is $5 with OW, so total outlay $143, though one could argue that the cartridge would be needed at some point in the future anyway, so with the $80 fuel voucher that's only $23 delivered for what looks like a well reviewed printer!
    Have ordered one.
Might order a couple more & eBay them!

FYI this is a discontinued model.

Does anyone know if this is available instore or is it online only?
  • lilpretzel2009/04/19 21:08:25
Not sure sorry modtang but you do get free shipping on orders over $55 but you need to pay a $4.95 nominal handling fee.

I would go with ordering online at least you know they are in stock :)

Nice find. This is a good printer - running cost supposedly no more than a laser.
Cons: Noisy in operation, and physically a big unit. Also power consumption rather high even at idle.

Hmmm I never said I did, I guess its better to stick to Officeworks as Sam said . Me on the other hand I will take my chances since its too late, knowing HP they arent usually that picky anyhow.

ok everyone..i called officeworks and ordered the printer and all the 4 ink cartridges (may as well with the price match). They matched the prices from 123inkjet.com.au and gave me 5% extra off on the ink. Total ended up $192.48.

So thanks for posting this...with the $80 petrol voucher, this is an amazing deal!!

From what I've seen in the Officeworks catalogue, you can buy the printer at $98, then on page 3 is the number 18 ink cartridge for $29.83 total cost $127.83 to get the fuel voucher worth $80, no need to look anywhere else I reckon

Also, the printer and eligible ink must be purchased in the same transaction

The number 18 ink cartridges in page 3 are color, not black.

Received today & all set up & working. Claim put in.
Looks like a nice piece of kit. VERY fast and as per the reviews, a little noisy. Quite a big lump, but not an issue for me.
    Many thanks OP!

Bought one today plus cartridge for $129.30 at OW (matched price for cartridge), now preparing the fuel voucher claim, but found several barcodes in the box of cartridge, three printed on the box, and one is on a sticker, wondering if I have to mail HP all of them.
The online claim also asks for the receipt number, is this the number at the bottom of the receipt?
