Go Hang-gliding for only $20 with FreeMan X in TASMANIA

Experience the sensation of cable hang gliding as you soar over the Launceston Trevallyn Dam in Tasmania...

Experience the sensation of hang gliding as you soar over an eighteen metre cliff landing two hundred metres from your take-off point.

This experience will send the adrenalin pumping as you run down the platform and off the edge.

So keep your eyes open as you hang below the canopy of the Glider. Youll be safely attached to the cable above, so just take in the sites knowing you dont need to do anything except feel the adrenalin pumping.

I'm not sure how they can afford to provide this at just $20 a pop... I would definitely be giving it a go, but does anyone know how long the cable ride goes for?

A friend has tried it - it is not a very long controlled glide - straight cable down thru a cleared path of bushland - no soaring over a majestic lakeland scene
Gives you an idea what hang-gliding might be like but the lift and descent is controlled by the cable

Ahh so they try to get you hooked so that you book a proper hang glide!

It would be an awsome way of seeing what its all about. I'd certinally give it a go for $20!! Shame its all the way down in Tas and I'm in NSW :(

It would depend how long the ride was. 10 m and it is not worth $20 IMO :)
